Engaged This Summer?

The Bridal Beauty Timeline You Should Start Now

December and January are huge months for proposals (YAY!) So if you’re reading this with a brand-new ring on your finger, congratulations! Once the champagne bubbles settle, it’s time to think about your bridal beauty journey. The earlier you start, the easier (and less stressful) it all feels. Here’s a simple timeline to get you on track.

12 Months Out: Skin First

Your skin is the canvas for your wedding day look. Book a skin consultation to map out treatments like needling, LED, or targeted facials. The goal is healthy, even skin that your makeup artist can work with - not perfection.

9 Months Out: Brows & Lashes

If you’d like fuller brows or want to experiment with lash extensions or lifts, start now. This gives you time to trial different styles and decide what feels most natural for you.

6 Months Out: Hair & Makeup Trials

Book in with your makeup artist and hair stylist. Trials help you see how looks photograph and last through the day. Bring inspiration photos, but stay open to their expertise.

3 Months Out: Treatments on Repeat

Stick to the treatments and products that are working - now is not the time to try anything brand new. Regular facials, skin needling or dermaplaning will keep things smooth and fresh.

1 Month Out: Finishing Touches

Lock in your spray tan trial, teeth whitening, and final brow appointment. Keep your routine simple and focus on hydration, rest, and stress management.

MBL Tip: Treat beauty prep as part of the celebration. Pop on a playlist, book appointments with friends, or make your skincare routine your daily “me time.” It’s all part of the lead-up magic.
